Brandon’s New Book (And Other Notes)

The following are administrative notes in lieu of a blog post tonight. I am working on a Twitter Spam article, and catching up on many email messages and press releases. So until I’m caught up:

-Assuming all goes well, my current blog schedule has me writing blog posts three days a week over at ReadWriteWeb’s ReadWriteStart section and once a week at the Huffington Post.

-I’ve also decided to take all of my old comedy columns  and re-publish them here under the “Turbulence In The Airplane Bathroom” category. I’m not going to try to have Turbulence published. Instead …

Brandon’s New Book

August was supposed to be book month here on SBI, but then Facebook bought Friendfeed, and that totally destroyed the book I was writing. So, I’m writing all new material (if you like the stuff running on the Huffington Post, you’ll like the book) and either …

A) Self-publish the book and sell it at each college I visit in the Spring.

B) Pitch a proposal to Kensington and let them do their thing. Kensington published Maddox and Tucker Max’s books, who some of you know publish similar material to my older stuff (and the newer material.)

On that note, I also sent a pitch to Rudius Media in the hopes they might be willing to take me on as a manager.  I’d really like to run the new content without any censorship as I tend to pull my punches and change lines when I run things on SBI and on the Huffington Post, so it would be a great fit if it happens.

This Month’s Agenda On SBI:

SBI for September will cover the book’s creation, creating a platform, a book proposal, and all that other fun stuff.

The #AMHF updates can be found on ReadWriteWeb’s ReadWriteStart soon.
