This is just an idea I’m floating your way:
On October 14th, I have fifteen minutes (or so) with Gary Vaynerchuck. It’ll be awesome because it’s going to be two loud, enthusiastic, New Yorker-types shouting questions and answers at each other in a crowded NYC book store.
You might have noticed on the Huffington Post, I try pretty hard to come up with unique and interesting questions for the people I interview.
I’ve been watching Gary’s videos on and off for about two years now, and Crush It comes out the day before I interview him (meaning I’ll pick it up on the 13th and read it on the bus down to the city on the 14th.)
But he’s also the wine guy, and I feel like if I don’t ask a few wine-related questions, then someone will be disapointed.
So:
Gary’s previous book, “101 Wines: Guaranteed to Inspire, Delight, and Bring Thunder to Your World” is up on Amazon right now at a pretty good price. I was thinking of picking it up and going through as many of the wines as I can get through in thirty days.
I was thinking each wine will get it’s own video blog post here on SBI, and I’ll tell you what I think of the book and the wine in that section.
But here’s the catch:
I’ll buy what I can, but I’m looking for someone to sponsor the video blog (which will run here) to help offset the cost of the wine … and my likely trip to AA that will follow this project. No? Ok. Just the wine.
