Since Halloween is coming up, I thought I’d do my part in celebrating by massacring … uh, I mean, recreating Bram Stoker’s Dracula for the 21st century. It’s the original book, aside from an edit or two …

Bistritz.–Left Munich at 8:35 P.M., on May 1st, arriving at Vienna early next morning; should have arrived at 6:46, but flight was an hour late. There are 6,000 night clubs in Munich, and I suspect the pilot’s visit to each of them caused my delay.
Budapest seems a wonderful place, from the glimpse I got at 35,000 feet and the little I could walk through during our layover. I feared to go very far from the airport, as we had arrived late and would start as near the correct time as possible.
This was for the best, as the sight of the Children’s railway sends me into maniacal fits of terror.
